Sleepy Thoughts feels as though we are entering a deep psychotic narrative in a way that feels as though we are witnessing a show. I have a feeling Fangs are a rock opera in band form. This song is centred around a deceptively catchy, folk-like chant that sounds appropriately soporific. Its lurching rhythms are colossal and the skill and degree of tightly upholstered arrangements present here is very impressive.
