‘Home?’ discusses the promise and temptation of eternal life, how for Count Dodo it initially sounded like a gift, but soon showed itself for the curse that it is. As he grows older, the Count watches the world slip away, as only wishes for death consume him. The song pines for the moments with loved ones that he wishes could be frozen in time forever, the moments that felt like home, yet will ultimately fade away and wither from memory.
